Owen Devenport’s Company Director, Berwyn Owen, has been appointed on to the panel of EAPS, through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The panel has been set up to assist Planning Inspectors with Expert Advice when dealing with Local Development Plans. This is a joint initiative between the RICS and the Planning Inspectorate and will give Inspectors, who will be examining Local Plans, the benefit of a wide range of ‘on-tap’ expert advice.

Berwyn was shortlisted from hundreds of applicants for appointment to this important panel, and indeed is one of only two appointments made from Welsh based companies, and the only one from North Wales. The responsibilities for acting as an appointee under this scheme are considerable and therefore a high degree of relevant professional competence is expected. Clearly Berwyn satisfied the appointments panel that he had the necessary skills and professional competence to be appointed.
