This was the second application instructed by Ifor Williams Trailers Ltd, this time for their site located at Ty’n Llidiart, Corwen. As the company had grown in size over the past few years they had decided their building was in dire need of an upgrade. Their ambitions showed proposals for alterations and extensions to the existing office area along with associated changes to the parking arrangements.

Further they had ideas for alterations and extensions to the canteen to include the provision of a first floor balcony/terrace in which the staff would be able to gather during their breaks and enjoy time away from the office. Lastly they had decided upon the installation of raised displays of their trailers along the boundary with the A5104, which would brighten up the building’s outdated look while also promoting their product.

Owen Devenport were instructed to co-ordinate the other expertise required in order to submit a full application, having done some informal pre-application work with the LPA beforehand. The application took several weeks to put together and was then submitted to Denbighshire County Council. Our clients were delighted with the results as their application was approved and they are now in the process of starting on the approved work.
