Conversion of outbuilding to holiday let secured on Llyn Peninsula

Our clients own a lovely site over in Botwnnog, Pwllheli which has been in the family for three generations. They had an existing outbuilding which they wished to convert into a holiday letting unit, along with a barn which they wished to convert into a semi-enclosed hot tub area to serve the holiday let unit.

The proposal was designed to a high-quality by the scheme’s Architect, Evergreen Architect’s, with the key objective being to ensure that its design was suited to the locality and the general character of the existing buildings were preserved. We prepared a detailed planning case on our client’s behalf, including advising and providing guidance on requirement to prove the business case for the proposal, and then submitted the application to the planning authority.

After some discussions and negotiations with the Authority, our clients were pleased to receive their planning consent and can now begin work to convert the buildings and achieve the goal of securing an additional income from the property from a high quality holiday let.
